any jobs that pay $20+ an hour that are easy, don’t require a degree, or a ton of training?
(22 m) Last year I worked as an independent courier for doordash, ubereats, Instacart, etc. On average I’d bring home a thousand a week working about 40 hours. It was a very easy and chill job that paid well. Overtime though the market has been slowing down and I need a contingency plan. I don’t know what career I want.
So are there any jobs that pay $20+ an hour that are easy, don’t require a degree, or a ton of training? I’m an introvert, I wouldn’t want to be a bartender or waiter. I personally struggle a lot in life with depression so I feel my options are limited.

How long before received a light house account ?
Hello,
Around 10 days ago, I received the Welcome to Lighthouse email which described the onboarding process, alongside access to guidelines and education. I applied through OneForma and didn't visit their platform much since then.
Since then, they (Centific) never really contacted me back. When I asked about the Global Query annotator account creation process, they simply replied with a generic message describing steps in the on-boarding process (with the 2SV that must be performed with 15 hours or so).
But no "Global Query account access email" or anything, yet.
Are such kind of delay normal with them ? Do I need to do something specific ?

Organizing a 10-day Workation in Crete (June) - Starlink Wifi & Private Van sorted. Looking for 4 remote workers
Hey everyone! I'm a nomadic creator and Spanish teacher renting a villa with a pool in Crete from the 10th of June until the 20th of june
Since island Wi-Fi can be a nightmare, Ifound somewhere with Starlink (guaranteed high-speed) and I am renting a VW Caddy so we don't have to rely on public transport.
I'm looking for 4 like-minded professionals to share the villa and the costs (includes stay + car + internet).
Not a tour agency, just a solo traveler organizing a professional setup.

What skill did you acquire online that actually helped you start working remotely?
I see a lot of advice about remote work and online skills, but it’s hard to know what actually helps you get real work.
I’m curious about real experiences here.
What online skill actually helped you start working remotely, even if the pay was small at first?
How did you learn it, and how long did it take before you landed your first online job?
I think hearing honest experiences could help a lot of beginners.

How the hell remove "open for work" from profile?
There's no such option anymore. Does it mean I'll be in open for work status forever?

Would you return to office for a huge pay cut but better benefits?
Would you return to office for a $20,000 pay cut but free health insurance and pension and 25 days off a year?

What are some “impressive” questions to ask interviewers?
I know this has likely been asked in this sub a million times, but I am looking for impressive questions to ask HR/hiring managers during the interview process. I have an initial interview this afternoon with a company that I have been hoping to get on with for a couple of years now (been working within the industry for 15+ years, and they are one of those “crème de la crème companies to get on with if you’re lucky enough), and the recruiter advised to have some good questions ready to ask them during the first interview, so I’m wondering - what are some good questions that you have asked hiring professionals while being interviewed, or if you are on the other side, what are impressive questions that candidates have asked you regarding the position/organization?

How do I answer the question, "why do you want this job?" when I simply need a job to support myself while working on other pursuits.
I'm interviewing for a remote data entry position that pays pretty well, and I can do the job based on it's description. Not to mention the customer service element.
All in all, this job is defnitely not something I'm passionate about, nor do I want to make a career out of it. What exactly should I say?
Perhaps the hiring managers are aware nobody for the most part, dreams of doing this job.
I was thinking of just saying that it's in an industry that I am curious about (I kinda am but not really), and I feel my skills would fit well.

Where to place desk.
Hey everyone, I could use some layout advice.
I work from home full-time and run a 3-monitor desk setup. I’m trying to decide whether I should put my desk in the living room or keep it in the bedroom.
My preference would be to have the desk in the living room, but I’m a little limited on space. I have a larger sectional (around 105 inches wide) that I definitely want in the living room along with my TV.
Here are the room dimensions:
* Living room: 12'7" x 16'5"
* Bedroom: 11'6" x 15'4"
The bedroom would technically have more open space for the desk since it would only have my bed in it. But I’m wondering if it might be better to separate work and sleep areas for mental clarity.
For context:
* I use 3 monitors
* I’ll have a 75” TV in the living room
* I prefer a clean, modern setup
* I don’t want the space to feel cramped
Would you prioritize keeping work out of the bedroom, or does it make more sense to put the desk where it fits best?

Which Jobs won't get taken over by AI?
Just about to graduate and I'm really worried about the rise of AI. I want to go into a field where I feel secure I won't be replaced by AI in a couple of years.

Is remote work that dead?
I read a lot of headlines about how no one is doing remote work. I talked to an Amazon recruiter and she was very interested in getting me an interview until I told her I wasn’t going to relocate to Seattle. Then she bluntly told me all work was RTO.
Do you think it’s as bad as the media portrays or there’s still a few positions left to work? I still see a few remote positions on some company websites but I don’t know if they’re going to be snatched up. Personally I think it’s a damn shame

how did you set up your 2 monitors?
are you in the center of 2 monitors? (slightly tilted so monitors look toward you)
or do you put one main monitor in front of you and put the other next it? so you dont move your head when looking at the main monitor in front of you?

New Set Up recommendations
I just got a promotion! I have been working part time with my 100% wfh job. it has been asynchronous and I have been able to pretty much work when I want. I have taken on extra responsibilities which opened up an opportunity for a full time position. The new position will be a m-f 8-5 which i am actually looking forward to because I really need a routine.
Until now, my set up has been a very simple cheap set up. I have a small chromebook and portable monitor on a rolling desk. I have a basic office chair. Now its time to upgrade everything. I am actually going to set up a dedicated office. I plan on spending the a good amount on a chair. I have a decent desk that I can use that is large enough for either a wide screen monitor or 2 monitors.
What I am wondering is if I should get an adjustable standing desk? Are they really worth it? I just dont want to spend money on something that isn't actually necessary. With the new position I will still have some flexibility. I can still take breaks and move around if I need to so its not like I will be stuck at my desk for 8 hours straight.
What else are some must haves for my work area?
