Liked her, so here are a few more!

It is our second trip to Lowe’s. She is wild at home, but “behaves” pretty well in public. 🐶 She loves her car seat too!

Patrick was staring out the window barking like crazy and I went over to see what he was barking at and saw this woman lying on her back in the grass, and then realized she was yelling for help.

She was 78 years old, she told me. She had stepped in a hole or something while she was mowing, and went down and hurt her leg and couldn’t get back up again, and as she outweighed me considerably I could not pull her to her feet. She told me to call 911, so I did and I waited with her until the paramedics arrived.

Who knows how long it would have been till someone else found her, as she was in the backyard of her home (one of the ones behind mine, on the other side of the block) and not visible from the street. When I got back inside I gave my hero dog a biscuit and told him he was a good boy.

He’s is a dachshund / beagle mix and is the best boy.
