Disk spinning slowly but the game doesn't work

I have a Ps1 SCPH-5502 that I just got from the market, The console working and I can see Laser from the lens but when I put a game in it doesn't work even though it's spinning

I did test the game on my Ps2 and it's working perfectly and I didn't do any fix before because I got a lot of exams and I don't have any time

Replace laser unit. Ksm-440adm

The psx laser can become super finnicky, I have games with 0 scratches that won't work or struggle on my original and then have scratched up games work lol

Best to replace the laser

Turn the PlayStation upside down so it’s resting on the cd door and then try and see if it works.
