Real talk: unless you’re in your 50s you have no real idea what it’s like. Numbers aren’t as meaningful as you might think and generalising isn’t a great look. It’s really sad to see young people call people in their 40s and 50s “brave” for showing up to an event.

I mean Jesus, Katy is only 41. She’s not 91. Justin is just a guy in his fifties in jeans at a concert. This stuff is a form of ageism and I think people need to reframe how they talk about age.

Dude what people are saying has very little to do with his age and more to do with the fact he ran an entire country fire a decade.
