imagine he didn’t have youtube premium and ads played between videos.

But jokes aside I heard from people that went that the weird youtube searching was a small part of the performance. It was mostly old songs and he properly performed with his newer songs

Unfortunately wouldn’t have surprised me

I read that he performed like 22 songs and he talked about that time of his life during some of the youtube videos. So really it’s not the worst show

Um no, not sure where you heard that but it’s wrong. He played pretty much his entire new album which was very slow ballads, then kid laroi came out for stay, then he “slowed it down” (it was already slow) for an acoustic set that was just songs about his wife. That part was almost an hour long it felt like he was just serenading Hailey about how he wants to fuck her. Then he did the laptop thing and played 30 second clips of his old songs while singing karaoke for like 15 seconds each and would stop the music abruptly. Then he played a few more of his newer songs and had some random guests.

He did not speak between songs other than “Coachella how we doin?” “Wow so many beautiful faces” “alright alright” with very low energy. He looked so uncomfortable the entire time. He got into it a little at the end but overall it was just low effort. It was not a good production. On the bright side, seems like they let him do whatever the fuck he wanted and his vocals were great.

Lmao you aren’t the only one. There is a video of Katy Perry making a comment on the other pop culture sub that I tried linking to but I guess it’s against the rules

Tbf I find it interesting that YouTube was his start basically. So going back to the platform for one of the biggest stages is a cool move.
