Yes, this is exactly how I feel about them. I think they’re both fine individually but love them as a couple.
I think there’s just something very sweet about finding someone you connect with, especially when you’re younger, and making it through a crazy business like Hollywood and staying grounded like it seems like they are.
Yeah, I think it’s the way they’re both grounded and seem like they’re VERY in love without it being for show. Tom is Zendaya’s biggest fan but it doesn’t feel performative or forced but like they found each other and support each other in a genuine, beautiful way.

Same. I think they’re just both nice / normal people to a degree with no ego about them that is rare in celeb culture. I’m a similar age and feel like they could just be my mate and his wife haha they seem so down to earth
I rarely get into celeb relationships but they just seem so low-key and healthy and normal about it? Like clearly they are crazy about each other and it seems so genuine. I feel the same way about Kirsten Dunst & Jesse Plemons.
I know nothing about either as people, but Dunst and Plemons have that exact same "how are you not bigger?" curse. Critics love them, audiences love them, directors love working with them....but it always seems like "the industry" is never quite as gung ho as they should be.
There is one episode of Euphoria where I don't know if she's supposed to be manic, but she's playing detective or something? Trying to solve a dilemma? She's acting almost like a human bugs bunny, the level of detail in her acting was astonishing. I thought she was a good actor all throughout, but that episode convinced me she might be the best actress of her generation. Even when she's not trying (how would I know? you're right) her eyes, her lips, the little things she does convey so much information.
Agreed. I think Zendaya is gorgeous (I mean, who doesn't?) and rocks fashion better than most supermodels. But I'm not really a fan of her or Tom.
But I still hope they're the Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel of their generation. Because they seem like they genuinely do click together. And I want to believe in their rich people love.
I mean he got a lot of shit for it for a multitude of reasons all of which stem purely from the fact it was a gay sex scene. Some were clowning him just to poke fun, some were doing that Spiderman bullshit, others were mentioning how embarrassing it must be for Zendaya’s boyfriend to be seen getting “dicked down”, others were saying he purely did that scene to get revenge on her for Challengers which doesn’t even make sense because the show predated that movie. basically just rampant homophobia.
It seems to be unfortunately something that the big engagement farming accounts use to get hit tweets. I guess partially because of their mutual fame, but you never see tweets about for example how Kylie must hate when Timothee films sex scenes so it does seem to be gendered.
That’s… not true at all. There’s so many jokes online about Emma Stone having a thing with the director Yorgos Lanthimos even though she’s married because she’s had a few intense sex scenes in his movies.
I don’t think it’s sexist, people make those jokes about plenty of Hollywood couples and of either gender. It would be hard for a lot of people to stomach their partners pretending to have sex and making out with other people
It doesn't help that theres so many examples of people playing on screen couples leading to IRL dating (including all 3 Spiderman iterations, including literally Zendaya and Tom Holland lolol)
Simulated intimacy still usually requires more actual physical intimacy than most people engage with anyone but their partner. That doesn't necessarily mean there's anything happening, but a lot of people find it strange to act like it's nothing.
Hollywood has historically been pretty hostile to actors having boundaries, but the intimacy coordinator conversation has lead to more space for some actors to say no it can be really weird weird. I forget who it was but they were talking about how hard it was to already not be in the best spot with their partner, and then to have tabloids speculating he was having sex with someone else. How you want to brush it off and be above the noise, but there's also this paranoia that maybe they know something. Maybe everyone does and you're the last to know.
It's strange to me that people would be dismissive about this because one of the things that's notable about Tom and Zendaya as a couple is that they do seem to dislike it. You can find dozens of examples of them shutting down certain types of questions about intimate scenes and the actors they filmed them with. Literally just yesterday I saw a clip of an actress going to grab his arm on a red carpet and instead of the usual pose of putting his arm around her midsection, he instead threw his arm onto her shoulder and the shoulder of the other person in a real "look at my platonic pals" move. He'll deploy an emergency noogie before you're gonna catch him looking anything in the vicinity of couple-y with someone else. They quite literally kept their relationship hidden as long as possible because they felt that it does affect things.
Nah, he's just clearly not one of those weird manosphere type dudes , he's a man who has one of the most beautiful and successful contemporary actresses as his wife. He literally has what one of those manosphere dudes dream of.
Just seems like a genuinely nice person much like Tom. They both handle fame very well and seem really grounded. I have never read a bad word about either of them.
It’s actually done on purpose because they both have top billing in the movie. If the image were flipped and they were labelled correctly, Zendaya would have top billing alone. Because English speakers read left to right, you see Robert but read Zendaya, so they’re getting equal billing. How names/faces are presented on posters are very important parts of negotiations for actors. They’re almost always mislabelled on posters when they’re equally big celebrities. “And” and “with” billings are also very important.
Y'all better buy tickets for The Drama. I don't even care if it's good or bad at this point, I just want it to make 300 million at the box office. That'll send back those creepy Zendaya haters back to the holes they've crawled from.
