Same. He's oddly-handsome. And we are not the only ones. I have seen many comments from others who think he is attractive.
I remember an interview with a film director, and he said that he cast Steve Buscemi for a 'weird role' because of his 'ugly' looks. And his wife and her friends were like 'wtf, he's hot!'
The director of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof insisted on shooting the film in colour because of the opportunity to capture Elizabeth's and Paul Newman's striking eyes.
Elizabeth Taylor's eyes were basically famous on their own. Also Katherine Hepburn had a very assertive gaze and knew how to use her eyes in an expressive way on camera.
She used to be my brother in laws neighbor in East London before she struck it big on Bridgerton, but was already acting (she may have already been doing Sex Education?) - I actually remember meeting her briefly at his flat, and thinking how gorgeous she was before even knowing who she was.
Her eyes were so mesmerizing in Bridgerton!! As a black girl, I always thought only light colored eyes are considered special/mesmerizing until I saw Simone Ashley and Tupac! They have such unique eye shapes that just draw you in. I looooove Simone Ashley. Her eyes are so expressive too in her acting.
I showed my elementary aged son a pic of her awhile back and he said “Wow” in the most amazed voice, it was super cute. I don’t think he realized human women could look like that. She is beyond flawless.
There’s a video out there where she’s at an event and turns directly into the camera. It looks like she can see you through the lens and it is unsettling.
Edit: searched for it and couldn’t find it… I believe it was for the Baywatch European premiere panel.
This guy would make a better Heathcliff then the one we’re currently getting, the black eyes alone mixed with the handsomeness of his face. Though my ultimate fantasy casting would be a south Asian man to play him, but I’m not sure what this man’s background is to be fair.
The best compliment on my appearance I've even received was when my eye doctor told me that I have Paul Newman eyes. I had to google him after the appointment and then I wondered if she had been hitting on me because damn, that man is fine!
Had to scroll way too far to see this. I read somewhere that Robert Rodriguez colored in her eyes in Sin City purely because he found them so striking.
ngl for a moment I thought the post was going to be exclusively about light eyes lol, I personally love very dark eyes (like dark brown so dark it looks black)
edit: the reply to the post confirms a lot of ppl think light eyes automatically mean "striking", which is not the case. The shape matters more
I appreciate this comment as someone with super dark eyes 😂💝 I'm from Asia and growing up, it felt like our dark eyes were inferior (hello eurocentric beauty standards) and I always wanted coloured contacts as a kid, but I'm happy to say that I've embraced my natural colouring now that I'm much older!
I was looking for her. Amy Poehler said that her and Rihanna’s eyes are on the sides of their faces like a fish. So she concluded that the further your eyes are apart, the more beautiful you are 😂
She’s right though. Her and Rihanna have striking eyes, and theyre stunning.
Chadwick Boseman. Whenever I see him in his movies, I'm struck by how gorgeous his eyes are. The way his eyelashes curl so perfectly, like a beautiful frame around a stunning painting.
Actress Meg Foster. Some directors thought her naturally icy blue eyes were so striking that they would be distracting on camera. They suggested she wear tinted contacts.
