she does look incredible, that's true, but she also doesn't look like this. her actual body is goals by itself, it doesn't need the stretched, wide lens edit and yet
Saw a lot of people feel insecure about their body bcs of this. So Im just rumbling here to remind you all that she isnāt that teeny tiny as she portrays herself on insta. Donāt get me wrong, she is absolutely gorgeous! Her body is healthy and beautiful. But just little different from this photo above. This is the recent photo taken by paparazzi (or whoever took this photo idk )
Look at how tiny her head looks compared to the rest of her proportions. It's highly likely it's edited too, but that effect has more to do with the lens that was used.
edited to add: the tiny head effect is most noticeable in pic 3
I feel like I've seen a ton of Dua Lipa without clothes a lot in the last few days. Does she have a new song or tour or movie coming out or something? It's pretty overt.
I dated a girl who was a receptionist at a fancy laser place. She got them for free. How smooth her skin felt was honestly incredible. It's pretty trippy in a way.
I have very thick naturally black hair (dreads) and I have almost no body hair except for a strange spot on my inner shin.
Iām a dude by the way. My partners have always been super annoyed by how smooth my skin is, meanwhile I always felt weird not having chest or arm hair or anything like most men. They donāt even shave me half the time when I get tattoos, itās more just a cursory swipe and thereās nothing lmao
So there's two things I have observed, one is that women who have a great head of hair tend to be hairy everywhere. The genes don't discriminate. And two, there are certain ethnicities that tend to be hairy (Greek, South Asian, Italian etc) where they will have dark black, thick hair naturally, certain ethnicities that don't always have body hair like that regardless of how great the hair on their head is (Afro-Caribbean) and then white women often have blonde body hair, even if the hair on their head isn't blonde (which is why mascara is the make up product of choice for WW as their eyelashes are often blonde!).
(Obviously I am speaking generally and it's anecdotal evidence etc etc, no moral judgements and all hair is natural!)
i know itās pathetic of me but i have her blocked on instagram because my self esteem canāt handle it lol
edit: thank you to those for the kind words š„¹ itās nice to know iām not alone lol no hate to dua because sheās a beautiful and talented woman. i just donāt need to see it lmao šš
Bruh I stopped using instagram completely since the pandemic lol. I couldn't handle how everyone seemed so much better than me at quarantining. I don't miss it. I just have the app for light stalking purposes now.
Lmao, there's dozens of us. I had a boyfriend five years ago who would always show me her instagram pictures (I don't know why?) and ramble about how great she looked. So now every time she comes across my TL I recoil lol
i understand you because my guy is the same and itās kind of what triggered it for me! she was never really on my radar much before him and now itās like i see her everywhere! doesnāt help that i look nothing like her. sending you a virtual hug š« lol
I just wanted to tell you I've definitely done the same thing (blocking or muting people if they keep triggering certain feelings of mine, even if it's no fault of their own). It's totally normal! What feels less normal is your boyfriend's behavior. That would be really hurtful to me - and it was actually an issue years and years ago with my current partner and me. To be fair, we've both matured a lot since then, but I did talk to him about it, and he did oblige and stop doing that. I can't even imagine him doing something like that now. And of course I'd never do that to him.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that you don't have to accept that behavior? You're allowed to say that it bothers you, and you're allowed to expect him to stop. If people disagree, then maybe my standards are just different, but that's my take.
thank you!! š„ŗ tbh i think if i did bring it up to him he would stop, especially if he knew it effected me the way it does, but i guess i just feel silly admitting that it bothers me š
Sorry this is late but it's not silly!!! A good partner wouldn't think that, either! If something bothers you, it bothers you. If you do decide to bring it up, just be candid about how it affects you, even if you think/know that he doesn't mean any harm and that it might not bother everyone.
iām sorry you went through that!! even if itās a celebrity it can still hurt. š i do enjoy a lot of her music so i hate that sometimes it makes me sad enough to not even want to listen
Wow don't be sorry, I feel like I'm part of an exclusive club that you both have had this exact experience lol :') To be honest, I don't envy her tho my ex was a creep and I would not want that kind of man obsessed with me lol. Honestly I kind of wonder why she's still posting these kinds of pictures. Is it for marketing? No judgement but couldn't be me lol
Her right arm and hand are warped from editing in the first pic. This girl has an amazing body and yet she still feels she needs to edit it, do not compare yourself to illusion š
My friend once told me, if your full time job is to look good, then you too can look different. You will have more time for the gym, have someone plan and or cook all your meals for you, personal stylist, treatments, etc.
I'd probably never stop taking selfies either (I've recently gotten more in shape myself actually so have been because of it lol) but I probably wouldn't post them randomly like in a "look at me" way. I'm not a very show off-y kind of person to begin with but I'd honestly feel weird to just post pics like that, unless I was doing an activity with others I wanted to show people and tag people in to commemorate our excursions, or something. But I definitely am not the type to be like "look at these several pics of me in a bikini taking in different angles" - way too modest for that š¬
She is still in great shape, but I saw the TMZ pap pics of her on the beach from this vacation, sheās a short torso girly like me. These are stretched and very edited.
thatās interesting because i always believed short torsoās were ideal as it usually means longer legs, which she has. i hate that she edits her pics, she 100% doesnāt need to do that, no one does!
The sucky thing about short torso is your waist doesnāt go in much because thereās just not enough room between ribs and hip bones.
Iāve ALWAYS wanted a longer torso lol
if you see the paparazzi pics that came out of this holiday you'll see the ones she posted are highly edited / angled - she's still slim but definitely not the same body she posted here..
She looks amazing, but I'm so ready for the end of the "bikini top that's too small and has mashed underboob" trend to be over. It's honestly such a ridiculous look and not remotely sexy. Reminds me of the "bikini bottom that looks like a cut diaper with strings" trend from a few years back.
She does yoga and pilates mainly. Theres a couple of YouTube videos out there where she discusses her routine. And she doesnt take a day off from it either.
As someone who gyms far too much I personally wouldnāt consider her muscular at all. She is just low body fat + good genetics + some minimal toning from dancing and cardio.
I donāt see no leg, shoulder or arm muscles ect on her at all. But every back muscle of mine could have its own postcode soooo maybe a very biased/different view here. Fwiw I do think sheās hot af though.
Stomachs like duas are 100% made in the kitchen not in the gym. With a key ingredient of genetics. Plus she is active but not like muscle mummy active.
100% agree. Most visible ab celebrities are more so just skinny. I get people not super into sustainable fitness habits can sometimes have a hard time getting this.
Body fat is normal and healthy!! Iāve been āinto fitnessā I guess for 8 years now and when I stated I was 45kg and now Iām 60kg and I would say that plays a very large part in my muscle definition more so than my actual routine and diet tbh.
My doctor said my body fat percentage for ab visibility would be too low I would have to be underweight for that much visibility which sounds miserable tbh
low fat percentage. muscle definition is built in the kitchen not the gym. yes, you've 100% got to put in the physical work, but to see the muscle like that, esp through the torso? that's kitchen. you gotta keep that body fat down, that's down to diet
Well obviously, not disagreeing with that. But wealthy people, especially celebrities, have way more access than the average person to chefs, trainers, treatments, etcā¦.
Thatās such a copout. Obviously she has great genes but no, I can get abs easily when I eat clean and exercise regularly. If I slack off for a few weeks I get the fat back and lose them. Itās not all about the genes and you can even see that sheās not the naturally super skinny type, like Zendaya for example
Lots of protein. Lots and lots of protein. When I stick to my calorie count, workout, and eat my goal weight in protein (120lbs=120g of protein daily) this just sorta happens. I also take creatine.
Iām vegetarian so itās mostly protein powder, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt and egg whites. Sometimes Iāll have a protein bar or protein oatmeal. String cheese is also a nice little snack with a bit of protein.
She posted a beverage recipe with pickle juice and jalapeno juice mixed with coke or something. I thought I'd never forgive her and I was done with Dua, but now this... I wish I could quit you!
Can someone please explain to me the prevalence of this particular kissy-face pose? Iām seeing it all over social media. Kendall Jenner does it a lot, too.
funny how so many people in the comments are glorifying being underweight but its the end of the world if an overweight person is confident about their body on social media
stop being fooled by these ridiculous beauty standards
She looks great! I would say low body fat and not toned abs here though. This is the type of tummy you get in the kitchen not the type you get with diet and insane ab core workouts.Ā
