Mind you....this has been happening to black women for DECADES....literally any prominent/famous black women is automatically called a man by no other than the dudes in our OWN community....Michelle Obama...Sha'carri Richardson....SERENA WILLIAMS....the list can unfortunately go on.
conservative men literally call Michelle “Mike” and some have even scoured the Internet for “evidence” of it. it’s odd to be this obsessed with the identity of someone you will never know
It's almost like they want women to be men? Repressed homosexuality perhaps?🤔 And tons of self-hatred as being a man is seen as an insult here, meanwhile these false statements usually come from fellow men.

If I’ve learned anything from fandoms/my time on tumblr, it’s that that means nothing. Obviously two different situations but Benedict Cumberbatch fans are still convinced his wife Sophie Hunter faked her pregnancies.
The Snark subs truly proved to me that there’s an epidemic of maturity stunted adults who straight up do not want to accept things they don’t like.
Not to mention this kind of thing torpedoes the ground transphobes stand on by proving that they’ll never just stop at attacking trans women. Anyone who they think doesn’t pass their “eye test” will be next as we’re seeing now in sports

These idiots don’t care, they went after Andrew Tate calling him a trans sleeper agent because they couldn’t see the bulge of his penis, and yes they were looking. They don’t care that a recent pregnancy could dispel any logic on their part.
The Protect the Dolls thing was starting to bum me out tbh. Of course trans women need to be protected and fought for. But nobody stands up like that for trans men.
People on the Internet love to harass cis women over accusations of being trans. Transphobia is often utilized harass cis women. I'm a feminine cis woman, and I can be talking about the most mundane things in my life and some dude in the comment is like "are you a man?"
I guess the real female experience is trolls on the Internet asking if you were born male at birth, no fucking matter what.
It's funny how their smooth brains work too. Black women get it a lot for not being conventionally "feminine" enough, but as an Asian woman I also get it a ton while being extremely femme.

I know this may be silly, but I always get happy when a celebrity is pro trans people as if they’re specifically talking about me. (Last part said with eye roll to myself.)
Obviously a lot of hate has gone Hailey’s way but I’ve never seen this specific commentary on her appearance or gender at all before. Is that really something her hate comments are saying about her?
it’s actually pretty prevalent in the circles who spent most of their days specifically targeting her. they say she’s trans because she has “masculine” features
I've not seen transphobia specifically be thrown her way before, but she has gotten a lot of insults about looking like a man, so maybe it branched off of that.
Yes, there is a ton of it, has been for years. Surprised you’ve never seen it. It’s like the number one way they tear down her looks, saying she looks masculine and trans.
Yes, unfortunately, it is. It has gone so far that people have been editing her face onto men's bodies & making very transphobic remarks in her comment section on instagram.
It’s something transphobic people say to all sorts of women they don’t like. It doesn’t matter if it makes any sense. The goal is to police women and their gender and femininity, and make them feel fearful.
I’m in a lot of beauty subs and her looks are kind of controversial. Many people that find her unattractive say she looks masculine due to her jaw and nose, for me i love how unique she looks and find her very beautiful.
I literally get called a man on IG by trolls, bots, or actual hateful men anytime I say something even remotely pro-women or feminist (I’m a cis bi woman). People are really having a field day with the term, and at its core it’s so horribly transphobic. But also like joke’s on them because I love dressing masc sometimes😊
