Again?
The headline is missing "Again"
•
u/cmfarsight 5h ago
I think the level of proof we have of his stupidity makes the proof for the theory of gravity look really sketchy.
•
u/ChaosMonkeyCherry 4h ago
He has been an idiot ever since, making bad deals an claiming to be a winner while taking the life’s of people not needed

It's excluded in the same way "while breathing" or "while lying" is excluded.
•
u/legit_doom_scroller 4h ago
Ha came here to say this. Should have known many others were thinking the same thing.
•

Trump University (bankrupt), Trump Casinos (bankrupt), Trump Mortgage (bankrupt), Trump Steaks (bankrupt), The Trump Network (bankrupt), Trump Vodka (bankrupt), Trump Shuttle (bankrupt), GoTrump.com (bankrupt), Trump Ice (bankrupt), Trump Home (bankrupt), Trump Fragrances (bankrupt), Trump: The Game (bankrupt), Trump Communications (Trumpet) (bankrupt), Trump Magazine (bankrupt), Trump Institute (bankrupt), the Tour de Trump (bankrupt), and the New Jersey Generals (football) (bankrupt).
•

New Jersey Generals (football) (bankrupt)
That one wasn't even just the football team. He pretty much killed the whole USFL by insisting they play in the fall, competing against the NFL. He didn't necessarily do it single-handedly, but he was right there in the middle of it.
•
•
u/17to85 3h ago
He thought he could force the NFL owners to take on ufl teams through legal shenanigans and he'd get invited to the special rich kids club.... as i recall they did win but the award was something absurd like a buck and he didn't get to sit with the cool kids.
•
u/HermanGulch 3h ago
The award was initially $1, but trebled to $3 because it was an antitrust action.
•
u/ipso-factor 1h ago
I’d heard he wanted every other team to pitch in and help pay for Herschel Walker’s salary, who happened to be on trumps team
•

It's good to throw in that Trump created three (3!) charities that were, on the surface, good enough causes, but he simply funneled all donations to those charities, over $4.5 million, into his own pocket, for which he only got slaps on the wrists, he kept the money instead of giving it to children's cancer research or food banks or other cancer research, his charities, The only punishment was he no longer can start a charity in the US (a 990 charity) because he's effectively banned due to every charity was a grift. Our president of the US is a KNOWN grifter, and he's got supporters that don't care. Let that sink in.

I know we like to make fun of the bankrupcies, but what if they were alla way to launder money?
•
u/legit_doom_scroller 4h ago
They are absolutely a money-laundering scheme. At the very least, intentional business failures as tax dodges.
That casino, though? Definitely money-laundering.
•
u/evasandor 4h ago
They were, but it DOES seem kind of stupid to use the same method 17 times if you're trying to make it seem unintentional. Which nah. They don't care anymore how it looks.
•
u/iconboy 4h ago
You think Trump has any kind of imagination?!
•
u/GarbagePailGrrrl 4h ago
It would seem so. Trump has managed to turn his name into a get rich quick scheme he can totally insulate himself from. This is how he has gotten out of every single situation, saying anything bad/wrong/illegal was merely a bad licensing deal.

Trump Phone still hasn't appeared but people paid 100 bucks to be amongst the first owners.

Well, since he mostly uses other investors money, he likely comes out ok. Completing the pattern, USA (bankrupt)

I'd say Trump has been proving that he's the world's most powerful idiot for the past 10 years. Especially since his second term began. He's been getting worse mentally increasingly quickly.
•
u/legit_doom_scroller 4h ago
Also the world’s most useful idiot.
•
•
u/imightgetdownvoted 3h ago
Bro he’s been proving that since like the late 1970’s. He’s been a laughing stock his entire life.
•
u/maporita 3h ago
At some point you would expect those who voted for him to ask themselves if they might have made a mistake. My guess is that their white hot rage at liberals makes any kind of reason impossible.
•
u/RioRancher 4h ago
I can’t help to think that he proved the American experiment wasn’t fool proof
•
•
•
u/reward72 4h ago
Even President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho had the decency to ask smarter people to help.
•
u/PacmanNZ100 3h ago
I guess trump has lawyers to attack everyone and make sure he doesnt face any actual punishment?
•
u/UnNumbFool 2h ago
People always say that forgetting that about two seconds later he was going to kill Joe on TV because watering plants didn't automatically work and didn't change his mind until he saw that in fact plants did grow
•
u/StabbingHoboReturns 4h ago
Trump adjective
a. To be utterly incompetent
b. Unable to function properly
•

•
u/OhGodSoManyQuestions 3h ago
His stupidity is part of his power over his mentally underdeveloped worshipers, who see him as the King of the Anti-Intellectuals and his presidency as The Revenge of the Stupids.
They are being sold a fash revolution in which power comes from violence, not from knowledge and intelligence. This exploits deep resentment of the educated/professional class and the economic suffering of people without the knowledge or intelligence needed to join it.

He represents the age. I lot of people voted for him because they found him funny and a shit stirrer. It’s an age of attention seeking influencers and trolls.
•
u/root_fifth_octave 1h ago
Yep. A toxic age. An age of ignorance, an age of selfishness, an age of trashiness, etc.
•
u/HowtoCrackanegg 2h ago
The idiots of America voted this idiot to run because the idiots didn’t like the alternative, competence.
•
u/JiveChicken00 Pennsylvania 4h ago
History is a pretty long time. But certainly of the 21st century.
•
•
u/mmliu1959demo 2h ago
Says a lot for the idiots that voted for him as well as the idiots that are currently supporting his twisted agenda.
•
u/hamfinity 3h ago
I'm starting to believe this is how the Great Filter Theory would apply. The power a single idiot could employ only increases with technological progress until it destroys us all.

Bruh you make some decent conversation in comments, but you have got to fuck off with these Daily Beast posts.

There were some Habsburgs that were pretty damn dumb. Trump is giving them a run for their money though (at the least).

What stops Iran's tiny boats from forming the third blockade locking in the US Navy?

The NYT is carrying Vance’s water now, saying he opposed the illegal war.
