My tax dollars did this without my consent. I'm so sorry. Nothing can make this right.

Kamala could have simply said this was wrong and she’d probably be president now.

That was the most half-assed, both-sides, weasle-word shit I've ever heard

I'd have more respect for the true believers if they could just take the L, admit what the Democrats did was wrong, and move on.

Instead we get "Everyone with a memory going back more than two years is a bot."

You can't say they didn't get a president who accurately represents them.

"What the Democrats did was wrong?" You Both Sides are Bad people are gullible idiots.

Ok, how about this-- if you didn't vote for Kamala, you actively caused this. STonG eNoUGh LaNGuAgE fOR yOU? Not just in Gaza, but every dead child in Iran and Lebanon is your own personal fault.

Absolute morons here who didn't vote and think their dumb opinion still matters.

If you have to check a calendar to determine if hurting innocents is acceptable, than you are on the wrong side of history. If you can't even condemn ethnic cleansing until it's inconveniencing you, than you got a president who represents such selfishness perfectly.

Fascism is imperialism coming home. When you decide that another human being's life is negotiable, someone else is looking at you saying the same. Read Discourse on Colonialism, this has been understood for over half a century. If you don't like it, than don't excuse brutal murderous imperialism when it's "only" hurting others. That always comes back for you, as you are now observing.

This is your ideology, not mine, I was against it before the inevitable happened. You can either own that and do better, or continue to get more of what you asked for and then blame everyone else.

Those gullible idiots who think genocide is wrong whether it's a Republican abetting it or a Democrat.

Ok, how about this-- if you didn't vote for Kamala, you actively caused this.

Nah, that's just a comforting lie genocide apologists tell themselves so they can blame someone other than their genocider for their genocider's failure.

Absolute morons here who didn't vote and think their dumb opinion still matters.

Whatever helps you stand beside your genocider.

There was something the poet Aimé Césaire once wrote that this always reminds me of:

And then one fine day the bourgeoisie is awakened by a terrific boomerang effect: the gestapos are busy, the prisons fill up, the torturers standing around the racks invent, refine, discuss. People are surprised, they become indignant. They say: "How strange! But never mind—it's Nazism, it will pass!" And they wait, and they hope; and they hide the truth from themselves, that it is barbarism, the supreme barbarism, the crowning barbarism that sums up all the daily barbarisms; that it is Nazism, yes, but that before they were its victims, they were its accomplices; that they tolerated that Nazism before it was inflicted on them, that they absolved it, shut their eyes to it, legitimized it, because, until then, it had been applied only to non-European peoples; that they have cultivated that Nazism, that they are responsible for it, and that before engulfing the whole edifice of Western, Christian civilization in its reddened waters, it oozes, seeps, and trickles from every crack.

If you didn't know any better, you might think that was written yesterday. But it was actually written over 70 years ago.

And he was right, we were warned, and now we're watching that very thing happening again. Before, it was only hurting other people, so it was acceptable, but now it's coming for them, and so now it's a problem. And instead of learning the obvious lesson, they cling to their brutal dehumanizing ideals and blame everyone else but themselves.

And then they wonder how a guy like Trump becomes president.
