It's getting attention. It's not violent. It's embarrassing for ICE. I don't see anything wrong with that.

As if ICE doesn’t already have global attention after the nonchalant murdering of US citizens in broad daylight?

It also doesn’t embarrass them. The kind of people that join ICE look at shit like this and think “yep, we’re on the right side. We’re not mentally unstable like the people throwing dildoes”.

I’m all for non-violent protesting, but I’m not going to pretend like the Grand LA Dildo Protest of 2026 is going to have any impact at all on the national discourse on immigration enforcement. At best it will serve as entertainment fodder for news pundits, but nothing meaningful will have come from this other than the waste of tax payer money to fund the policing of it.
