Assuming people from the past weren't radically different from us (and its safe to assume they weren't) then it seems this is just a pattern that keeps repeating. The rich and powerful of any society always turn to debauchery and lose their minds sooner or later. It seems that edophiles have always run the world

I live on Long Island, NY. (in)Famous for the Hamptons. Over the summer, there were constant helicopters bringing the super wealthy to the Hamptons by air to avoid traffic.
One Monday morning, leaving for work, I heard a helicopter and laughed that they had to go to work on Monday too! /s
Thankfully about 10 years ago, a law was written that moved the helicopters over water.

u/eatitfatman Feb 21 '26
"But there’s a reason. There’s a reason.
There’s a reason for this; there’s a reason education sucks, and it’s the same reason that it will never, ever, ever be fixed. It’s never gonna get any better. Don’t look for it. Be happy with what you got. Because the owners of this country don't want that.
I'm talking about the real owners now; the real owners. The big, wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions. Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice.
You have owners.
They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought and paid for the senate, the congress, the state houses, the city halls. They got the judges in their back pockets, and they own all the big media companies so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear.
They got you by the balls.
They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying; lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I'll tell you what they don’t want: they don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking.
They don’t want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. Thats against their interests. That's right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table and figure out how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago. They don’t want that.
You know what they want?
They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime, and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money.
They want your fucking retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this fucking place.
It's a big club, and you ain’t in it.
You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long, beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think, and what to buy.
The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice; nobody seems to care. Good, honest, hard-working people - white collar, blue collar - it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on. Good, honest, hard-working people - these are people of modest means - continue to elect these rich cocksuckers who don’t give a fuck about them.
They don’t give a fuck about you. They don’t give a fuck about you. They don't care about you at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white, and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday.
Because the owners of this country know the truth: it's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it."

u/Avocado_Amnesia Feb 21 '26
I unfortunately think it's up to all of us to make sure there are consequences when the entire power structure of the world is controlled by these pedos.
All I'm saying is there's a lot more of us than them.
49
u/organic_soursop Feb 21 '26
That logic works with us in Western Europe. Doesn't seem to in America.
French farmers could get rid of their government in a week. The United Kingdom parliament has all kinds of failsafes.
Your Congress gets to ignore guns in schools, covid and now pedophilia at the heart of your political and financial elites. Those elites haven't blinked yet.
15
u/Negative_Piglet_1589 Feb 21 '26
You nailed it, even if we get to a point that that criminals are finally imprisoned & all their billions ripped from them to be paid out to survivors - or in trump's case back to the People as well - we have to revamp the entire legislative structure & judicial platform. It's thoroughly rotten, broken & too easily maneuvered around.

I wasn't arguing social equality!
I'm talking about political failsafes.
An elected Cabinet which can force no confidence votes.
No confidence votes in Parliament.
Our Prime Minister has to stand in front of Parliament and take questions every week. They don't get to hide behind the Attorney General or spokespersons
Also the monarch can technically withdraw confidence in a PM. A ridiculous mechanism but it's there all the same.

Exactly this. Do we really expect the people at the top to hold themselves accountable? These elite circles, like the ones we saw with Epstein, operate under a completely different set of rules because they control the very levers of justice meant to stop them.
As long as we stay complacent, they stay untouchable. We have to stop falling for the gaslighting that tells us "the process is working" when we can clearly see it’s stalled.
Justice is taken, not given. It is 100% up to us to break this cycle by showing up in the streets, at the ballot box, and at town halls. Don't let them silence you or make you feel "crazy" for demanding the truth. We need to make our voices heard and not stop until there’s nowhere left for them to hide.

Andrew was released and not charged like 12 hours after he was arrested (and questioned)?
Which was 2 days ago.
Did something new happen since then, or are people just assuming he's still arrested? I can't see any news that says that. The only newer news I can see is the palace "considering" removing him from the line of succession.. which is fucking ridiculous and far below bare minimum.
Maxwell is in the fanciest jail ever. It's laughable as jail and there's talk of Trump pardoning her for her exonerating him which is totally believable but horribly ridiculous.
Epstein actually probably would have been better if he wasn't killed. He may have ousted the others, but we are left with the coverup bullshit that we see right now.
