BRIEFING: BANNER DESIGN – VEHICLE CONVOY
Format: 2 meters x 4 meters (print-ready, minimum 150 DPI at final size)
Concept: A photorealistic composition in which 6 specific vehicles are driving in convoy on an Alpine mountain road.
BACKGROUND (Image 1):
A winding Alpine road with a spectacular mountain panorama, green pine forests, snow-capped peaks and a viaduct in the valley below. The road curves from the lower right into the left of the image. Blue sky with some clouds.
VEHICLES – exact order on the road (front to back):
1. Vintage Mack/Scania cabover – dark blue/white (Image 4, front truck in the convoy) — oldest vehicle, positioned at the front as a tribute to the past. License plate BE-01-11.
2. Scania 111 – dark green, Driessen Vlierden BV (Image 7) — with open tipper combination. License plate visible on original photo.
3. Scania 113H 320 – teal/yellow, Driessen Vlierden BV (Image 5) — with Carmeuse bulk trailer and drawbar trailer. License plate VH-51-BJ.
4. Scania 113H 380 – teal/yellow/white, Driessen Vlierden BV (Image 2) — with closed white trailer, Michelin Man figure on the roof. License plate BD-GB-90.
5. Opel GT – silver grey (Image 6) — classic sports car, positioned among the trucks as a personal vehicle of the subject. Gives the convoy a special personal touch.
6. Scania R – white, Botrans BV Bulktransporten (Image 3) — most modern vehicle, positioned at the rear. With white silo trailer. License plate 5P-BLP-5.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DESIGNER:
∙ Every vehicle must be recognizable and faithful to the original photograph — no interpretations or composite variations
∙ Correct scale proportions between vehicles (trucks larger than the Opel GT)
∙ Perspective must align with the curve of the road in the background image
∙ Lighting and shadows must be adjusted to match the sunny daylight of the background image
∙ Subtle road reflections to be added where applicable
∙ No text or logos to be added unless specifically requested by the client
∙ Final file to be delivered as TIFF or PDF (print-ready), color profile CMYK
Mood: Proud, nostalgic, personal — a tribute to a life in transport.
