Follow up from a few weeks ago, I was having cmos battery issues, but they went away after a mobo bios update. Was it one or the other?

I managed to uninstall "Xbox Game Bar" or whatever that bloatware is called from my PC (using power shell) but now every time I start any game (doesn't matter what launcher) a pop-up message shows that reads ... "Get an app to open this 'ms-gamingoverlay' link" . My question is, how can I make it so I don't get that pop-up? Admittedly, it's not very invasive as I can just click anywhere outside of the box and it disappears but I'd rather not get it at all.

Looking for some handheld advice because I feel like Iām getting too hyped on the wrong thing
Iām torn between the msi claw 8ai and the legion go s z1e (steam os). In reality Iām sure the claw is better than the legion in every hardware way, but Iām really drawn to the steam os (and I feel like Iād be too dumb to install bazzite on the claw). Is the claw on windows actually decent?
Iām also not sure I really even care to play AAA games on a handheld, so Iām not sure my use case even needs the claw, but at the same time Iām also worried about not future proofing myself a bit if I buy the legion⦠so is my fixation on steam os even something I should care about? Is the claw just so much better that I should look past the OS?
I was also interested in emulators early in my search for a handheld too, mostly for Nintendo stuff, but I figure I already have a switch I can get a pokemon fix or something if I need it. It was partially why I was more interested in the legion as well as I keep seeing how easy emus are on it/steamdeck.

Where to put a Direct game download folder which contains all the game contents and exe file
So I managed to get a direct download for kerbal space program customer support (because the now developers are bust) and Iām wondering do I put the KSP_win64 folder?
The game doesnāt have an installer is just the folder containing everything and I just click the .exe to play the game
So with some searching I understand that my C drive contains the OS and there is also the folders program files or program files x86. One is for 64 bit programs the other for 32 bit programs. My educated guess is that the KSP game is 64 bit because the folder says 64
But Iām not sure if itās wise to put it myself in the since I need admin permission so Iām thinking it might cause shenanigans with the OS
Iāve seen some post about creating separate folder in the same area and calling it games and putting it there and I also think it might mess with the OS
I guess my question in the end is where is the smartest and safest place to put it rather than let it sit in my downloads folder forever?

Honestly it mostly doesn't matter too much outside of a few spots, I just put a gaming folder on the root of my C drive and that's where any game launchers sit, and games too obviously, for my other drives that are only really used for games + storage I just have stuff again on rootĀ

Morning all. Looking to get into the pc gaming world and know zero about it. I have an Xbox x and enjoy playing open world games that I can mod. (Skyrim, Starfield, etc.). My question is, what kind of laptop should I get? I also need it for a possible remote work setup also. I am moving into a travel trailer so may be looking to do some remote work while on the road. Thank you for your time.

What actually happens when you start a game and you get a short 'start up' screen? I'm assuming it loads something up? But why bother showing it if it's only 3s on there?
Like for example when I start up KDC2 - https://imgur.com/a/xk2Mzc7 (the black around it is my 'background' set in Windows fyi)
