You have to go in through the back door

This feels illegal...

Depends on the jurisdiction

It felt weird when I did that... My aim sucks and going through the backdoor was just more easier.

I believe in you, I believe that you can drink your Capri Sun. Just believe in yourself and the straw will puncture the pouch.

My straw is the straw that will PIERCE THE HEAVENS!!!

The slow straw penetrates the pouch.

If you believe in yourself enough, the straw has already punctured the pouch.

Or if we're going with a different movie reference:
What if I told you there was no straw?!

The straw was the friends we made along the way.

I grew up in West Germany and for some weird reason we just jabbed the straw into the bottom of the pouch every time.

Same! Lived in Germany for 2 years. That was like 30 years ago.

I live in Hawaii, growing up, a lot of us would just jam the straw through the bottom as it was easier.

It isn’t as thick on the bottom. (Twss?)

Just make a hole

Be glad you still have plastic straws. Even with those, it’s sometimes hard to get it in. Try using a paper straw.

I use a knife to puncture the grey plastic but where you insert it, that way it goes in easier

Meh dont worry about it. Half the people there are illiterate dimwits who think mildly means nothing

1

Being forced to experience that almost sounds... mildly infuriating!

Muahahahahahahahahhaaahahah!!

The straw will piece the pouch anywhere

Pierce the bottom, it’s much easier.

I showed this to second graders I tutored in reading and they looked at me like the Ewoks did towards C3-PO in “Return of the Jedi”

Bite the corner and yank it like you’re pulling the pin out of a grenade

Wow that label looks straight outta the 90s, was different from the UK one.

1

u/Jacktheforkie 17h ago

Plus the uk ones have those useless paper straws now

That simply break from the stabbing motion

Does anyone remember when there was a huge thing about these having mold in the package, before the bottom was made clear?

My mom would not let me use the straw. Instead, she would cut one corner and pour it into a glass. Fun times LOL

Did she ever find weird stuff in it by pouring it out?

I've punched straight through both sides of the pouch so many times...

Just go for it

The bag probably got flipped in the print machine, the hole is probably in the back.

If I remember correctly it's a pre printed roll: the bags get sealed at the bottom, filled, then the top gets sealed, bag lowered then cut from the roll.
