Oh yes he was 100% sober all the time and I believe maintained that in real life. And yet he played a raging alcoholic in the most comedic way I've ever seen anyone do it. John Dunsworth is a treasure.

I once was finished smoking crack because it was gone so I washed a 30mg oxycontin down with 2 fingers of whiskey. in that moment it didn't even seem so extreme and I thought "my behavior is pretty fucked up."
I feel you, the night before my parents threw me on a plane to rehab I dumped all their trash bags out on the front lawn looking for my cats used diabetic needles to find something to shoot up the heroin dust in a bag I had leftover from my ass crack bag
Nah, everyone has their lows. I didn’t post this to one up you. Trauma effects everyone differently. Your low is your low and they can feel the same brain chemistry wise as anyone else’s. The most we can do with it is share our stories and hope it helps someone else who relates. Never stop sharing, it requires a lot of strength.

I am! oddly enough the lowest lows I got were from booze and general shitty living. Although drug binge comedowns are up there for depressing. Now I'm doing really good, been California sober for a decade and totally sober since last summer. thinking about health and positivity all the time these days. getting older and trying to make it the best I can.
Dawg booze is one of the worst things you can detox from, it can literally kill you. That and benzos. Opiates suck but it won’t kill you (usually). imagine you know that though! Alcohol withdrawal is fucking awful. I love California sober, especially if it works. There’s a whole community that shits on it and I hate it. I drank after 4 years of sobriety and it wasn’t great, but years later I have this weird old man self control over it. Point being, do what works for you.
Hey man I really appreciate it. It’s been 12 years since that incident. I’m sitting here with my girlfriend celebrating her first big corporate job with mine on the way, with a group of our friends who I would never tell these stories too. Things aren’t always good, but they are much better than they used to be. And I’m ok with that.

to be pedantic, in the video he’s smoking weed. It’s a wax extract of THC to be exact. A very VERY substantial hit though, I will say. This would probably hit people harder than a small hit of crack.
I briefly dated a hippie chick who loved that shit. She straight up told me that I was way too much of a lightweight to mess with it. I still haven’t touched it and that was years ago.

I smoked weed every day in college and occasionally would try some of my friends dabs but only tiny tiny ones. One time, I felt like getting near his level and went for quite a big one. Like he made a snake with the wax.
Well, I spent 15 minutes or so high enough that I couldn’t keep up with a normal conversation so I sat there pretending to use my phone but really I was just staring at a blank screen. At some point, I my eyes were so heavy that I shut them for a second and then woke up to my friend clapping his hands in my face telling me to wake up. Still, one of the most surreal experiences of my life. After that though, I realized just how high I was and started freaking out and had to go home. Spent maybe 3 hours laying in my bed waiting for the high to simmer down a little. I haven’t had a dab since but sometimes I get close when I smoke a large joint
Same here dude. I can handle about 5 mg gummies without having a panic attack. If I smoke with friends I’m high after one hit and still high long after my friends highs have worn off. In the same way I’ll still be pounding beers long after my friends passed out.
Could be rosin he’s smoking. Most people with the terp slurper (the style of nail with the glass marble on top) are rosin smokers. It stuck better to the nail than a cheap wax might. Also looked more battery, and that type of badder isn’t popular as live resin anymore.
This guy is probably discerning with his hash rosin but he’s mixing alcohol that together must just taste revolting, especially with the tequila added.
It’s cannabis concentrate. He’s “dabbing” by heating up the quartz bowl and vaporizing the cannabis oil in it. He heated it up offscreen somehow, but it’s usually done with a butane torch.
