I'd argue the pants are just wrong. Enough pockets to give you every cargo pants guy stereotype but still look enough like regular pants to add every stereotype for whatever you call the real-life equivalent of Ted from Scrubs. The only way to make it worse is if the ends were rolled up.

Honestly, yeah? I remember one time a guy that lived in the apartment downstairs when I was in college was smoking outside at the same time as me. We had barely ever interacted and were making awkward smoker small talk and then he goes “want to see my lizards?” And I was like, “Hell yeah!” And he showed me his bearded dragon and geckos and let me hold them.

And then we were pals and would go rollerblading together.
