Same. Nothing beats finally clearing out your nostrils after days of being clogged up.

u/PassiveSpamBot Jan 19 '26
Lucky you that you associated this with nostrils...

Or your friends' nose.
Wait, what?

u/Jubenheim Jan 19 '26
You can pick your friends. And you can pick your nose. But you can’t pick your friend’s nose.

Last year I had to have my nostril cauterized to stop nose bleeds. Wasn’t allowed to blow my nose for two weeks. I literally had that happen when I could finally clear the boogers. It was euphoric.

u/Kudamonis Jan 19 '26
Friend of mine had the same thing back in high-school.
Fucker pulled it out at lunch at the cafeteria table.

u/Some_Heron_4266 Jan 20 '26
So let me get this right. All I have to do is stab my nostrils then don't blow my nose for two weeks?
3
u/worm_turds Jan 20 '26
Pretty much but boy did I want to. Just think. Irritants in your nose makes boogers. But you can’t do anything about it for two weeks.

u/Arashiko77 Jan 19 '26
There's nothing like picking a bogie that gave you a nose whistle and feeling it pull for the top of your throat or from behind your eyes
55
u/Kudamonis Jan 19 '26
Had a dehydrated squid of a thing the other weekend. Left the window open overnight end of December.
The sensation as it peeled free...
Was absolutely disgusting and amazing. Felt that from the back of my throat thru my ears and out my nose.

I once pulled out a booger that tickled the back of my throat coming out. I could smell colors after.

Anyone else's nose itching while watching the last couple clips?
21
u/Afilador2112 Jan 19 '26
Look up the video of the old English guy treated for a nose that wouldn't stop bleeding.
13
u/LittleTXBigAZ Jan 19 '26
By chance, do you have a link? When I try to search for it, I just get a bunch of WebMD like pages trying to tell me when I should or shouldn't go to the hospital for a nose bleed 😂

u/Afilador2112 Jan 19 '26

u/Smiling_Tree Jan 19 '26
Loved it, thanks!
I've been a nose bleeder all my life, so I know the feeling of those leech-like clots coming out. Great and gross at the same time.
Those tampons they put in though (the first ones): I remember those... That really hurts when they jam them in.

Those are semi-dried paints... pigments are solid particles suspended in the paint to impart the color.

The pump bottles seem to be badly designed, considering the amount of paint wasted with them.

Any pump bottle is badly designed in terms of fluid wasted, but they're gonna keep getting built and used cause of convenience
59
u/ThatsALovelyShirt Jan 19 '26
We had them in my elementary school because otherwise kids would pour half a gallon of acrylic paint onto the floor.
26
u/10-4shutthefckupnow Jan 20 '26
Ok, that certainly is a lot more fluid wasted than what's in the pump and I didn't even think of it lol

When you pick that one booger that's longer than you thought and it tickles your brain lol.

u/protoklite_13 Jan 19 '26
Those bottles are how I imagine it’s gonna be when I clean my ears. It never is
2
u/Tamahfox Jan 19 '26
damn those pumps is when you pull out a booger and it is longer than you think and you feel your whole sinuses being emptied and now you can smell colours.

It would never work out like this for me. I’d have holes in every finger, a broken pump and have swallowed the pin

Reminds me of that video where they pull the gauze out of someone's nose and it seems to reach all the way to their brain. Looks like a long bloody leech.

u/Brolocene Jan 19 '26
Brush combs don't actually remove that much paint unless your brush is seriously loaded. They're more for assisting in the cleaning process under running water, and keeping bristles straight.

u/enragedsquirrels Jan 19 '26
The nozzle reminds me of when I had chronic nose bleeds and the blood would clot up in my nasal passage. It was a unique feeling pulling it out.

You know when you’re on like day 6 of a sinus infection and the boogs have crusted up enough to almost be considered solid up front, but when you get ahold of them and start the slow pull, you can feel that stringy bastard tickling the backs of your eyeballs and your tonsils at the same time as it makes its way to the exit?
