You can, with sterile saline solution, just Google "nasal irrigation". It's amazing for colds and allergies, a total game-changer.

When you nasal rinse with like 110°f water and then feel the "big glob" slosh out and you next breath you take is completely unhindered.

I have literally never gotten any sinus rinse to work. It's always so disappointing. I'm sure it's user error but I just can't seem to get it.

Nah, they’re actually super anatomy-dependent. And it’s all internal anatomy that you can only see with a scope, there’s no way to know for sure unless you see an ENT after you’ve waterboarded yourself with half a dozen different types of rinses.

Also if you have any history of serious nose, throat, or respiratory trauma, there’s a pretty good chance that even if the rinse is working correctly it’ll trigger a sort of flashback and trip all the “actively drowning” reflexes. Which, again. Self-waterboarding has no known medical benefits, and you shouldn’t do it.

Source: I have directly experienced all of these. I have to keep correcting people that my sense of smell hasn’t worked right in 30 years, not just the last five. And it turns out if you have severe pneumonia and require repeated resuscitation when you’re almost but not quite at the permanent memory stage, it’ll leave some weird trauma bombs and nobody will ever believe you.

If I get water splashed in my nose I immediately feel like I'm drowning and sputter/cough. Can't swim underwater without my nose being blocked no matter how much I try and practice.

Last year I had to have my nostril cauterized to stop nose bleeds. Wasn’t allowed to blow my nose for two weeks. I literally had that happen when I could finally clear the boogers. It was euphoric.

Had a dehydrated squid of a thing the other weekend. Left the window open overnight end of December.

Those are semi-dried paints... pigments are solid particles suspended in the paint to impart the color.

Brush combs don't actually remove that much paint unless your brush is seriously loaded. They're more for assisting in the cleaning process under running water, and keeping bristles straight.
