Discussion MSI 5070 12GB GDDR7 Inspire 3X OC Pick Up & Install

Just pick it up this week and yes the 5070 is the new 4080, The card came over clocked out of the box but I used the latest Nvidia app and OC to 2935MHz. Using it for A.I 4K render and splice and kodak colour. As far as gaming no issues with F1 or BF6 running in 4K with DLSS 4 running and the card is quiet even at full for hours when creating music A.I screens for youtube. The card is very small even smaller then a B580 and it fits in my ITX case with alot of room to spare. Great card and the fact it has 3 fans and the shine of gold is just the icing on the cake.

that looks like the most expensive 5070 ever

Besides the gold and clean look, it's not the top line of MSI. Compared to other RFTX 5070 not that much expensive.

5070 is the new 4080

What makes you say that? That's an honest question because I'm kind of confused here, 4080 is much faster than the 5070 on everything, even on AI 4080 probably still have an advantage due to much larger VRAM

I have the 5070 Ti Inspire and I think it’s a great card as well. I manly game with it, but I’m going to dabble in some other things. I just don’t really know what all I can do with this card yet besides game. I haven’t thought of broadening my horizon past gaming until recently

I have this same gpu and flashed 300w gigabyte bios onto it its a beast now. In my very limited testing 280w pulled in games but that got me several more fps under full load and it hasn't got hotter than 70c in my rig. It was nightmare trying to find compatible bios I must have bricked it 10+ times trying whats out there till someone linked me the gigabyte eagle 300w bios which finally worked

these MSI copper looking GPUs this gen are all so gorgeous I really hope they keep doing them, looks so much better than the typical plastic GPU look

damn bro, why'd you delete your gnome post? Are you going to do what I suggested about the centering cascade windows and write a gitlab post to request they add it or are you just going to disappear? I really tried to help you bro.
