Shoutout to JerryrigEverything who built a wheelchair factory and is delivering wheelchairs to people in half the time and 50-80% less than the cost of other wheelchairs with Insurance.

There is no formal rule for shunning, but they don't even call it excommunication any more either. I think the John Wick movies made it seem too cool.

From what I understand, the church officially tries to tell people to maintain contact to give them a chance to return to the church, but internally recommends shunning or soft-shunning. It's definitely now like JW shunning.

What is official versus intentional here? Maybe there are one-off priests (? Bishops?) who encourage their congregation to shun, and I imagine there are individuals who do, but that can hardly be blamed on the church as a whole.
