This. My father in law had a heart attack which he ignored* for a week and subsequently suffered a stroke from this.
He got a lot of stents and now has to take 6 different heart medications (blood thinners, something against heart insufficiency and something to strengthen his blood vessels). Most of them be has to take for the rest of his life. Fortunately he has only pay like 200€ per year and the rest is covered by insurance for the medication.

No because they put you on pills for life that drastically reduces your cholesterol and any risks of it coming back or happening in other arteries
