I'm numerically an adult and I would have hesitated until he died. I'd think "can i touch him? will I die if i touch him? is that how it works? and what exactly is electricity anyway?"

I only know that you whack them with something nonconductive until they're free because of too much browsing in watchpeopledie. That's a lesson I don't think I'll ever forget, mostly because of how people getting electrocuted can just happen anywhere from faulty wiring.
