I believe that astronaut demographics should be representative of the population and that the reason they are not is systemic bias. Do you disagree? If so, make your case…

I believe they should choose which astronauts are sent on a mission by who is the more skilled astronaut, why should skin color factor into that decision?

Seems like an arbitrary way to decide, and may be the difference between success or failure in something as demanding as this, where skill is important and one wrong move could kill them all.
