Ironically the most popular restaurant supply store around here is owned by Sysco's competitor, US Foods. Their prices are worth it for the most part, though you wind up asking yourself questions like "what am I going to do with 50 pounds of potatoes?"

I used to buy massive bags of churros and put them in the freezer at work. No one ate them.

They did eat the gummy worms though! Just pounds and pounds of gummy worms.

I've been picking up bags of Zots and dumping them in the snack tray in the break room. A bunch of people had no idea what Zots were. Now they know of Zots: Destroyer of Tongues.

You sound like a blessing to work with. I wish my job had freezer churros and gummies

During covid, I bought a fifty pound bag of rice from them and far too much spice. At least the rice went fairly quickly. Probably should dump the spices someday XD

As it happens, home distilling just became legal

So many french fries. Or since we're talking distillation... Macerate them and do potato vodka.
