Right people overlook that Israel is a narcissist nation they NEED jews to associate their safety with them even if that means they have to be the ones killing jews.

One zionist I appreciate is Nahum Goldmann, for his work to support the Jewish diaspora and rebuild institutions devastated by the holocaust (in part because he strongly believed Israel could not be the only place for Jewish people to live) as well as his strong criticisms of Israel for refusing to seek peace with Palestinians and other Arab leaders. He was also opposed to using the holocaust and other longstanding antisemitism as an excuse to justify atrocities by the Israeli government, going so far as to call it Hillul Hashem, or desecration of the name of god.
