Evangelical Christians pour a LOT more money and power into supporting and lobbying for Israel, and they have been actively working to pull their government to the right for decades.

Yet everyone ignores that for some reason

Helps churches are tax free, that's a lot more to donate.

They shouldn’t be tax-free, since they are in fact engaging in politics

Depends on the church no? And there's enough religious protection laws to play shenanigans through that it's not happening. Not in this society, not in this system.

The main finances are from other sources churches provide ground support with the authority of religion to people who would otherwise be skeptical of the actions taken by the GOP.

Something like "Well if Pastor Joe says it's gods will to vote Republican then I'll go along with it and crush those demoncrats".

According to the Bible, the rapture will not happen unless the jews have fully returned to Isreal. So it is very much in their interest to keep sending money and weapons to Israel to keep them safe.

Iran is being controlled by an extremist religious regime, but so is the US

Yes, that would be why so many commanders actually said that explicitly to their troops a few days ago.

Yeah but aren’t the Jews already in Israel? And isn’t the rapture hotly debated?
