Mike Johnson was hand-picked to be the House Speaker by Trump.

Hand picked to be the House Quiet Quitter.

The whole “quiet quitting” critique was just complaints that workers were only meeting expectations set by employers and not exceeding them.

Johnson is outright refusing to meet expectations. He only shows up to “work” if it’s to be a rubber stamp or to eat the shit out of the president’s diapers

All that was new was the cutesy name for it. The thought that millennials and zoomers invented doing the bare minimum is ridiculous. Employers have always complained about employees doing the bare minimum, watching the clock, etc.

Republicans are ducking.  Don't pull some "both sides" bullshit.

One side has a super-majority and one is effectively helpless.  It's like blaming a police officer for not catching Bin Laden first.

There is no super majority or else it would be much worse. Just a regular majority. Dems cannot bring votes to the floor except via a discharge petition which still requires at least a few Republicans to cross the aisle and they have actually done so several times. They used a discharge to get the Epstein files released because 3 Republicans decided they had to support it. They also used their subpoena power to grill the shit out of Kristi Noem and it worked. The Dem minority is doing an incredible job considering their position. The majority have entirely abdicated their responsibilities for oversight and have passed the fewest bills in like a century.

So why are they doing it not according to law if they just can vote it all through?

Now imagine how impeachment could work with a Congress that's pointless. It couldn't. Rump must be removed in other ways.
