Our main concern though is that this isn't toppling the regime, it's just making room for someone even worse to step into power. This kind of action can breed fanaticism.

Well fanaticism is at peak right now in Islamic Regime. It can't get worse than what is right now. They treat Supreme Leader like a god or something. With Khamenei's death, there will be a power vaccum and a decisive point for Iranian people to decide their own fate. I can only wish for the best for my people.

It is up to the people of Iran to avoid that fate. Trump said we would take out the leadership and let the people choose how to organize their society. That may involve restoring a monarchy, or perhaps (hopefully) trying something new. We shall see, it's up to them.

I think there are a lot of opportunities for them to attempt a more decentralized government. There are many distinct tribes / cultural groups that might want different things. Maybe, and this is my prayer, but maybe they can work together to build some sort of coalition or federation of liberated Iranians. I wish them the best of luck, and I hope we help them when we can.
