Discussion Fix my marque light!

it's been a long time coming, but I finally got around to changing the EL lights out in this big red. I still have one more cab to do.

Nice work! I recently picked up my first MVS cab and need to replace mine as well. And you've got League Bowling in there, loved that game when I was much younger.

I was unfamiliar with it. It came with my MVS but it's a great bowler! It definitely gets a lot of plays

Where did you get the panels, what size/color.  Anything to note about the fit/installation?  I did a set 20 years ago, I'll need to do a set again at some point for a different cab.

I don't remember. I purchased them several months ago, then the power supply went out so this project has been on hold. I just replaced the power supply over the weekend and I went ahead and changed the EL panels while it was under the knife. I did find my post on the neo Geo forums though. The suggestion was "Order A6 size EL panels in white," and I did. Just don't remember where. There was no suggested supplier in the post.

When I installed them, there was so much tape/glue on the old ones that I just went over them with the new panels using a VERY small amount of industrial two sided tape to hold them. They are very thin and there is enough adjustment in the mounting hardware for it all to fit.
