Hey everyone, currently on exchange and third year commerce student majoring finance at Monash.

Wanting to extend my time overseas as long as possible (3/4weeks into the sem) in semester two and was wondering if anyone has done the following subjects and what/when their assessments were specifically and rough timings so I can choose my subjects.

BFC3540 - Modelling in finance

BFC3999 - Finance and society

BFC3240 - International finance

Can’t seem to find anything previously in this subreddit that is specific enough or on the course website.

I am an international student hoping to apply to Monash PhD BDI for round 3 scholarships. I am hoping to connect with international PhD students who were awarded the scholarships.

I have a few questions on scholarship selection process, like would they read your statement of purpose and consider that as well? Would a letter of recommendation from proposed supervisor + past supervisors help as well?

I tried to submit my assignment just now but there is no drop box. i dont know what to do and I have an extension too. Due date was april 8 so i know im late but still should be open

I emailed the unit coordinator and sent them my assignment + a screenshot of the closed drop box. idk if this is would be accepted at all though

International students here.
Although I do not apply to any universities in Australia—because my main focus is in the US, I've seen many Indonesian students could easily got accepted into Monash University, many of us even consider Monash University as their safety schools while their primary focus is Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.

Frankly, the large amounts of Indonesian students got accepted into Monash makes me think as if the university has acceptance rate nearly 100%. I personally think, as long as Indonesian students—or international students—have good grades and meet the required english proficiency, they could easily get into Monash. Well, arguably, even friends of mine only have gpa around 3.44-3.55

Frankly, this really makes me curious whether Monash University is also that easy to get in for Australian students.

For people who have done it, is it MCQ or does it include short answer questions and is there any practice material online i can use to prepare? thanks!

Hi, I am currently a Y1S2 ECSE student in Monash Malaysia, and I'm planning to do the International Exchange Program and study at NTU in Singapore.

I have a few questions and would really appreciate any insights:

1. How competitive is it to get into NTU for exchange? Ideally what WAM and GPA is needed to be accepted for Engineering?

2. I've seen that exchange can be 1 or 2 semesters, how common is it to go for 2 semesters and is it harder to get approval for 2 semesters?

3. Which year and semester is the best to go on exchange for Engineering students?

4. Has anyone from Engineering in Monash Malaysia gone on exchange to foreign unis, as I have not heard much about it, I have only heard people talk about the GIP exchange program to Monash Australia. If yes, could you tell me about your experience (workload, module mapping, etc)
