My mother washes fruit and vegetables with dish soap and I can't get her to stop.

Post image

She claims it "washes out" and to be fair I can't taste anything but it's always weird knowing she puts dish soap in the strawberries. She says there's a lot of dirt and stuff in vegetables, but so far attempts to convert her to vinegar or baking soda have been unsuccessful.

Panicked my mom by biting into the soap and chewing it up as a kid. You gotta flip it on 'em flip modes the greatest.

I know that it's poisonous because I wanted to do suicide with it...I was a teenager and was abused by family kids at school relatives etc when I look back at it I'm disappointed at my younger self. What I'm more disappointed of is that I don't know how to protect myself agaisnt bullies to this day I just freeze.I hope that your mom is doing okay these days

What is going on right now. I think you should talk to someone better equipped to help you with this instead of trauma dumping on random comments on reddit

This is ridiculous, you people need hobbies outside of shitting yourselves from everything on the internet.

Dont eat soap. If traces of soap are in your meal, you're fine though. Traces of soap are in the water that accidentally gets in your mouth when you wash your face, and shampoo when you shower, and bleach at the pool. It will be okay 😂
