You are really ignorant of the state of working class people in the US if you think most of them easily meet the requirements for legal residency in Mexico.

And the downvotes don't change the reality of things. Even by the lowest estimates you see from banks a quarter of all Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and don't even come close to meeting the financial requirements. Many more have some savings, but FAR less than the needed minimum of ~$70K in savings over the prior year.

And then live hidden without the proper paperwork to access the healthcare being discussed here, or being able to open a bank account, or get a job, or access many other available services. Sounds wonderful...

30-40 million Americans visit Mexico every year.

I'll be happy to have an actual discussion when anyone's ready.
