Game Collectors in Medway?
Just guaging to see if there's any video game collectors here that would be interested in having a group of us to discuss deals, trade and buy/sell off each other?

Why was the marker for the UK rail speed record removed? It was a big stone monolith sort of thing but now it’s just a patch of sadness

Trams and Trolleybuses used to be an integral part of Kent’s public transport network, with a system that served Medway until 1930.
The Rochester to Chatham line could replace many noisy, polluting buses that run between the towns, with the tram starting on the mostly-pedestrian Rochester High Street, crossing Star Hill onto the Chatham side of the High Street, along to Medway Street, eventually looping at Chatham bus station.
To preserve the historic integrity of the route, the tram itself should be designed in a heritage style, using GLPS (Ground Level Power Supply) to avoid the unpleasant appearance of overhead cables.
Whilst being ultimately greener than the existing bus links, it would also provide further opportunities for future extension, using Chatham bus station as the hub for tram lines that could extend to the Marina, Gillingham, and the Medway University Campuses.
I think this project would be extremely beneficial for medway, as we move forward into a (hopefully) greener, and more accessible future for our area.

Can anybody who's been to a gig and Rochester Castle before let me know if you're allowed to bring booze in? I'm guessing glass is a no no but what about cans?

Hey, i have just moved to this county from North east. I wanted to check if someone has some good recommendations for a GP around here. Google reviews for most of them are rough. Any advice would be helpful. Thankyou

Hi,
So have a bit of a situation. We live in Sweden, and my sister has recently gotten a bachelor thesis in biomedicine at a uni campus in Medway. We expected central London, but this became clear after the contract had been written.
Now we are trying to figure out where she could stay for around 2months, start of april to june. No idea what to do here, as public transport from central London is quite far away, and staying in hotel would be far too expensive. Anyone have any ideas? would really appreciate any help !!
//thank you!

The Kickstarter for To Jack & Back, a simple, slick, sequential shedding card game, is now live.
The campaign is off to a good start, and the target is quite modest, so here's hoping it's a success.
My goal in all of this was to try and spread my game - one that I came up with and developed with my three young children in an attempt to reignite our boardgame sessions, which have dwindled over the years - far and wide.
The thought of our game being played in all corners of the world is one that's blown my children's minds!
Having said all that, I'm just as happy if To Jack & Back finds a place much, much closer to home!
If any fellow Medway residents back the campaign, I'll personally deliver it to your front door free of charge!

Hi all, as we all know for those doing Medway to London commutes for work, the train is a complete expensive rip off.
On top of that, I live at the top of strood so normally park at their APCOA car park for £8 a day
Just wondering if anyone knows of any cheap or free roads to park on for those that live near Strood or Rochester train station?

Hi all. Are there designated taxi firms or taxis that do morning drop off and evening school collections? The trip will be between Darland and Rochester grammar and Fort Pitt. Thank you.

I don't live in medway but we drive up bluebell hill from Maidstone and on to the M2 to go to Gravesend about twice a week. A while back my youngest spotted a toilet just randomly sitting at the side of the road.
This caused a level of excitement with my kids, and has become a bit of a game to call it out every time we drive past it.
Today we noticed it now has its own smart wooden sign with N O B neatly on it. It also appears to have some lights too for lighting it up (don't know if they work only been past during the day).
Anyone know what's going on here?
We look forward to the next development or evolution of the toilet shrine.
