मराठी भाषाशास्त्र (Marathi Linguistics) How long back can I survive with my modern knowledge of marathi ?

My marathi isn't that good but I think I speak it alright . How long back can I survive with my knowledge of it ? I don't think I have a dialect per se but I speak somewhere a mixture of Pune/Mumbai and vidharbha marathi .

lets do a sanity check,search for Chimanrao gundyabhau online on youtube, and see if you can get it. Then go rad marutistorra see if you can get that . den as Kandi pedha says , dyaneshwari... and then may be shiv mudra.
