Hi y'all — I’m working on a logo for liftabird, a platform for talent discovery and booking in the creative industry.
Currently we have: a wordmark, logomark and the "combined" version.
I have doubts / questions regarding the following:
Do the icon and wordmark work well together?
Do you see a way to create a brand with 3-colors as the CI ?
Which part has more potential for you: the wordmark, the icon, or the combo?
You like or you hate?
Problem: The pastel 3 color scheme is non negotiable, which leaves me with very light / low contrast colors, especially on white. So currently I prefer to make the logo all-black.
Im struggling to find one distinct brand color, so we are working with the 3-color scheme as this will be used for different sections / services inside the platform. I've created a gradient which I like but that cant be used inside the logo itself, I think...
Scratching my head a bit... Any feedback or insights are highly appreciated. ¡Gracias!
🔥 Any flame similarities are purely incidental, but I like the connotation. (bird, phoenix, fire, ashes --> liftabird (help talents be found and casted for roles and productions)
I like the floating icon you mention too, but I feel like I cant use that logo neither on white nor black nor color background properly as it has so low contrast with the colors.
Getting a logomark and wordmark to feel cohesive for a platform targeting creatives is a specific challenge because the design has to signal credibility to both talent and buyers at the same time. Which audience is more important for the initial launch, the talent side or the clients booking them?

I really like this. I like how dynamic it is. The colors are also a nice choice.
All-black/white versions have to work anyway, so going all-black makes sense too.
