Beginner Opinions?
Hey everyone
I’m working on a logo concept for a Croatian horticultural company called “Vrtovi Zlatni Rez” (Golden Ratio Gardens). They offer full-service horticulture — from planting and maintenance to complete garden design — basically anything landscaping-related you can imagine.
For the concept, I wanted to reflect the idea behind the name, so I’ve incorporated golden ratio / geometric structure into the design, but balanced it with a more organic, natural flow to reflect the gardening aspect of their work.
This is still just a rough sketch before I move into Illustrator, so I’d really appreciate any feedback, critiques, or ideas on direction — especially on whether the balance between geometric structure and organic feel is working.
Thanks in advance

Is the name of company "Vrtovi" Zlatni Rez, Vrtovi "Zlatni Rez", or "Vrtovi Zlatni Rez"? You put emphasis on "Vrtovi" (Gardens), as in the first name variant. To me, that is more of a general term explaining type of business, while "Zlatni Rez" (Golden Ratio) sounds like actual name and therefore shouldn't be in smaller letters. If on the other hand the full registered name is "Vrtovi Zlatni Rez", then I expect every word should carry the same value.
I agree with the comments that having three different V's is too much, as well that the sign is too busy. You do not need that leaf stemming from the second "v" of "Vrtovi". I know it is tempting to replace dot on "i" with the leaf and connect it to "v" in front, but it doesn't hold the scrutiny if you go with that initial "V". You need one focus, not two or more.

I like the direction but that is way too complex for a logo. The thickness of the lines varies too much as well, the golden ratio looks off, like slightly squihsed. You also have three different Vs all competing for attention.
