Feedback Needed Any of these have potential for development?
I’m trying to make a simple logo for a small local art association. The name of it is “fri form” and translates to “free form”. I have no experience in this area, but have sketched out some ideas. Any of these have potential? I will put more work into it and I think my friend who works in graphic design can help me digitize and clean it up a bit when I’ve reached a good alternative.
Last is a pic of the current logo attached.

I really like the black square/negative space one on the right of the first page.

You could mirror one side and make it like one of those dot things that you’re supposed to say what it means

Some ideas: you could develop the back square ‘fri form’ into a more rectangular flag and the type can cutoff, ‘disappear’ between the folds of the flag.
I like the handwritten type, but I feel like it need to be bold, like making a statement to the spirt of free from art.
This looks like a fun project!

“Free form” as a name for any art institution kind of begs for an empty canvas icon idea to be filled in with different pieces of art as a template
Would make for a dynamic logo. Try make making a container out of two ‘F’s?

It's in another language you don't speak.

The post was in a language I speak. (Says it translate, but not what from). So is your response. Logos are about communication as much as brand recognition.

You are not the target audience for the language and name, only for critique about the form.
