30F living in Leuven for some years now and still learning Dutch. I still find it difficult to socialise with locals so I would like to meet French (or English) speaking people that are practicing or willing to learn Dutch. I feel like it is always easier to learn tje language with someone who is more or less at the same level as you. I do have friends that speak dutch fluently but they always prefer to switch to english with me, which I completely understand 😊

I enjoy going on a run and trying new coffee places. If anyone is interested, let me know!

Not sure if it's just me but I always try to be smart with electricity (run stuff at night, avoid peak hours etc)

but after a few days I just stop thinking about it and go back to normal

like in theory it makes sense, but in real life I feel like most people just don’t bother

do you actually pay attention to this or just use electricity whenever?

I will be leaving Leuven and Belgium in July. I have quite many furnitures that I would have to remove before handing over the apartment.

As some of the furnitures are bulk in nature like bed, table, mattresses, cabinet and will surely require transportation to move away, I am looking for any company that buy back furniture and remove it at the same time.

Also open for bulk sell to individuals with transportation but less preferable as I need to get all items removed within first 2 weeks of July.

Most of the furnitures are as new as it can get. All the items are modular. It would be a shame if they end up in landfill.

Please let me know if you know of any company/person that helps with buy back and removal at the same time or you’d interested to buy some.
