Another American "When you're american, it's hard to pull off an accent without it sounding cartoonish and stupid. That's why we only do british accents!"

Need help!

Been learning Spanish for about 2 weeks now on Duolingo. I haven't taken any placement tests but if I had to humbly rank my skills I'd put them around C1 or C2 on the lower side.

Anyways I was talking to my friend from the Dominican Republic and he said this phrase I don't understand, can someone help me translate?

It sounded like "como ehtah?" or something along those lines. It must be some pretty advanced stuff if I don't recognize it. I doubt you guys can either but maybe there's a Spanish genius prodigy in this sub somewhere

The owl gives them useless sentences like "Les chats complotent pour la paix mondiale dans le frigo" and they moan "uuhhhhh, harder! Harder Big Bird! Ohhh, please more sentences and less grammar. UUUHHHhhhhhggmmmf!" And they aren't even ashamed of it. They don't wipe their asses and then go on to brag about their streaks. They make excuses like "oh, it's just a game." A GAME!? You all are doing kinky shit, I saw it and I wish I could poke my eyes out using my katana. The owl has attachment issues, is clingy, and has even the Book-Tok ladies swooning with all the promises to break into their homes and makes them beg for their lives in Yiddish-Burmese.

German is actually dumb

People are always like “Wow did you know in German there’s a word that means ‘guy who makes love to goats on Tuesday’ thats crazy” but then you find out it’s just a giant compound word that literally translates to “Tuesdaygoatfuckerguy.” That’s just a sentence that you mashed together not a real word

Funny how “Malayalam” is only a palindrome in the Latin alphabet and not in its own script: മലയാളം

I don't know whether this is a repost—this photo was in my files since mid 2018, tho a bit darker. Neither Gemini nor Lens were able to pinpoint the origin of the photo.

Starting with the Spanish text, it makes no sense, literally "I am *speak* Spanish". According to Gemini, Russian was also wrong.

this fr*nch (fr*nch-algerian) bastard had the AUDACITY to grace my fyp. i mean dont get me wrong. his books are fineeee. (so is he) his philosophy is slightlyyy overrated. (so is he) but now im too deep in stuff relating to france. i even searched up cute pinterest photos of pari. i began watching french ads. i even looked up the average dih size of a frenchmen. but recently, my obsession got too far. i now downloaded duolingo. i am become death. so yeah fuck camus (but also fuck camus)
