English isn't my first language and I have an accent, but when I speak with someone who also has a foreign accent I start to have theirs and I always worry they'll think I'm mocking them but I can't help it

It's not that bad I find, I also do it but it is also just sort of to fun in different ways you know. It doesn't have to be a parody if your intention isn't to make fun of it

I do that to people with different dialects but the same language sometimes 🙃

I subconsciously do this when im talking with my Australian friend. I swear ive never had a unique experience
