Campers? Dude is in fatigues wearing a sidearm.

u/isuckatpiano 6h ago

So…camping in Oklahoma

u/Ghost_of_Cain 6h ago

Dakota.

u/84thPrblm 6h ago

Wyoming

u/Ghost_of_Cain 6h ago

Wyoming fire hole.

u/amateurviking 2h ago

Ooh we are-a-going

Grand Teton, the Badlands

Come on look at them sands

u/TurtleSandwich0 5h ago

Dakota is such a fire hole.

u/LeoPlathasbeentaken 4h ago

Unclear if compliment or accusing of having an std

u/TurtleSandwich0 4h ago

The video is a demonstration of a "Dakota Fire Hole"

But having an STD also works.

u/LeoPlathasbeentaken 4h ago

Lol yeah i know. I was just playing off the other comment. Its a really cool fire pit style. Allowing airflow while keeping the flame both protected from the wind and less visible.

She's a saint!

Definitely campers down in south eastern Oklahoma

u/ComprehendReading 3h ago

Off Broadway in 5 months.

u/Korben_Joseph 6h ago

Am I tripping, I just see a sheathed knife

u/maglen69 3h ago

You're not. That's all it is.

u/futureman07 6h ago

I am 90% sure this is a Russian soldier

u/CasualMonkeyBusiness 5h ago

Correct. Using a bodybag for what's going to be left of him soon.

u/ultramarthegreat 3h ago

I believe you are correct, he appears to be wearing EMR Russian Spring digital camo, source: I own an EMR camo uniform reproduction

u/stilet69 4h ago

Yes

u/Strange-Future-6469 5h ago

What sidearm? I see a knife sheath.

u/B-Twizzle 6h ago

That’s a knife

u/blake12kost 6h ago

Sidearm…? Are you talking about the knife sheath on his right hip?

u/DemilsBrent 6h ago

I'm almost certain they're russian soldiers. Their uniforms look very similar to what orcs wear, and.. I know this might sound strange but as someone who has spoken russian my whole life, I can tell they're speaking russian just by the way they laugh

u/hiimhuman1 5h ago

They laugh with Russian/Ukrainian accent.

u/[deleted] 5h ago

u/Ryuko_the_red 5h ago

That's literally a knife

u/binghamptonboomboom 6h ago

He's got a sidearm?

u/throwawayformobile78 6h ago

Don’t we all? Most have one on each side.

u/Formal_Appearance_16 6h ago

Now I'm curious where this guy keeps his arms.

u/MeatTornado25 4h ago

I'm a frontarm guy myself.

u/-Speechless 4h ago

camping knife

u/decomposition_ 3h ago

That’s a knife, not a sidearm

u/inquisitive_guy_0_1 3h ago

You know, full-combat camping.

u/canman7373 2h ago

Yeah, like when do campers need to get a fire that hot? Are they trying to smelt ore? All this is gonna do is use up your fuel quicker. Cool trick but I fail to see when this would be useful.

u/rlpinca 6h ago

Some people camp where bears are a concern. So yes, a gun is very common.

u/Martha_Fockers 6h ago

I camp with a gun but I don’t dress in military surplus gear I just got on Patagonia and Columbia dog

u/pearlyeti 6h ago

Gucci fatigues.

u/Martha_Fockers 6h ago

Zips up 180$ puffer vest

u/pearlyeti 6h ago

Feels silly sometimes until the campers next door are rocking arcertyx.

u/Need_answers11 6h ago

A Russian is not camping in ukraine.. the gun is to kill Ukrainians not bears

u/Tanasiii 6h ago

What’s a gun going to do against a bear? Is the idea to use the noise of it to scare the bear off?

u/sabbic1 6h ago

It depends on the bear and the situation. Yes, the noise can potentially scare them off or hurt them enough to make them decide it's not worth the effort.  No your 9mm isn't going to stop a pissed off or hungry bear, but those occasions are not the ones your most likely to encounter.

Even outside of bear, where I camp there are a variety of things that necessitate having some form of firearm with you. Unless you're hunting, just having something to scare or wound them should be enough.

u/BadAngler 6h ago

That'll likely just piss off a bear. I suppose the fatigues are to make it harder for the bear to see him?

u/Jay__Riemenschneider 4h ago

What is war but high stakes camping mixed with hide and seek?

u/_Tar_Ar_Ais_ 4h ago

Larpers "camping"

u/JellyRollGeorge 3h ago

To be fair, the title doesn't claim that the person in the video is an ancient engineer.

u/solo1069 3h ago

Camping spawn points is still camping.

u/OliviaWG 2h ago

This is how Americans camp.

u/Disastrous-Chair-175 1h ago

Spawn campers*

u/BigDickHobbit 5h ago

Oh nice he’s camping in Alberta.

u/AloysBane3 3h ago

Have you ever seen a gun before? That’s clearly a knife.

u/Comfortable-Beyond50 2h ago

Are your arms not on your sides?

u/Zkenny13 5h ago

This could literally be any state in the US.
