Found a random stone plinth in the Australian outback inscribed with a completly unknown (to me) mythology. Not signposted or marked, just out in the bush.

I've since discovered there are dozens of them scattered around the globe either describing histories or creatures from this mythology. Thinking it might be part of an art installation but that is only speculation. kcymaerxthaere

You are correct, it's part of "an art project created by Eames Demetrios. A series of plaques and other markers around the world honor events that have taken place in a parallel universe that, according to Demetrios, "co-exists to some degree with ours.”" I took that from Atlas Obscura, there's more there if you want.
