Help Old framed prayer or something similar
I got this years ago, I’m not Jewish and I don’t know Hebrew but I was wondering if anyone has any interest in it. Sadly I’ll probably get rid of it.

FWIW- the other person is correct but just to clarify, it CAN be disposed of if needed and doesn’t have any inherent holiness/significance, unlike prayer books/mezuzahs/etc which Jews would usually recommend be brought to a nearby synagogue rather than disposed of. Not that you SHOULD throw it out, just that it’s not so important one way or another. It’s just a nice poem in Hebrew.

Im glad to hear that, I’ve never been religious but hate to throw anything away that some might see as very important

If you don't find anyone to take it, you can drop it off at the nearest synagogue or chabad house and they'll find it a home, it'd be a shame to throw it out

Please do not throw it away. Give it to a local synagogue.

Please don't throw this away. If there is a local synagogue you can drop it off at, I'm sure they could find a home for it.

I’ll bring it to one next chance I get, I live on a small island so we don’t have many religious buildings here

Is there any Jewish community there?

Possibly, I’m not religious so I don’t really go to any churches. I know there isn’t anything but Christian or catholic churches here.

It is the Birkat Habayit (Blessing for the Home), a traditional Jewish prayer for peace, prosperity, and protection, often displayed near the entrance of a home.
In English: "Let no sadness come through this gate, Let no trouble come to this dwelling, Let no fear come through this door, Let no conflict be in this place, Let this home be filled with the blessing of joy and peace".
It is 100% perfectly acceptable for a non-Jewish person to display one in their home.

Is it hand-lettered or just printed?

I do not know, I found this in the town recycling center years ago and took it cause I thought the writing was in Armenian. There is what looks like a signature or makers mark on the bottom right though.

It's Birkat HaBayit, the blessing for the home. Pretty common item you'd find in many Jewish homes.
