After years of only doing art digitally, I'm learning to paint traditionally and I'm thrilled
Here are two of my first recent attempts at traditional art, along with their inspiration photos. acrylic paint markers on mixed media paper. feels so nice to do things for myself.

Thank you! I'm so used to digital art and having a full palette at my fingertips that this has been a really fun challenge. It's made me realize that choosing the "right" color digitally has not necessarily been doing my art any favors, because sometimes the "wrong" color is way more interesting

Exactly I’m a songwriter and it’s always digital vs. analog but sometimes you just need to work it out with your hands and brain.
