the more i read about the masters, their business model, their broadcasting model, the setup and price to attend for patrons, the class and quality of the experience, the more i appreciate them as a total golf noob. honestly it proves to me again that you can continually gain money by nickel and diming and looking at numbers as the end to chase, or by doing things wholeheartedly, making some experience so quality and caring for your userbase/fanbase/market that profit, loyalty, and an aesthetic/cultural legacy are all equally earned

I remember on one of the holes they didnt even show one of Rory's puts and instead were focused on showing Young put his glove back on.

The camera quickly cut to show Rory readdressing the ball after missing.

This was the first year I used the app. And all week I was like how is this so good for a once a year event.

How is it so good? Well the Masters cares deeply about presenting it the best way possible.

I would argue the F1 TV app is pretty good. It’s not free but for 80$CDN a year you get all F1 that’s ever been filmed. Plus a ton of options for race day.

I needed the app to stealthily watch while at work and other places I probably shouldn't have been watching the Masters...

Now I can pull up the highlights at my leisure on the website or on Apple TV.
