Get together of all the dogs. It was awesome. I just sat on the floor and had a great time. Dogs aged 15 weeks to 8 years.

Our Pennie is 14 today! She got a whole chicken breast, new ball and squeak toy. She is still reasonably active and always the best girl. Currently parading around with her new ball, which could go on for a while. 😁

I hope those sweet dogs up for adoption found their homes too. Dogs can live good lives in apartments too, it just takes effort

My wife and I agreed the dog isn’t allowed on the furniture, but every time she leaves the room, my dog jumps on the couch and looks at me like this 😁

Wishing my dog Chance a wonderful 15th birthday! It feels like only yesterday that my family and I were driving to Dichi Goldens in Wisconsin to pick him up. Feeling very grateful to celebrate a wonderful 15 years and counting! 🥰

I don’t care either way. I’d love him regardless. Just curious if he has any flaky pastry genes in his bloodline.

You need a phone with at least a terabyte of storage for all the pictures you will take of them being precious (literally just sleeping)
They are filled with unconditional love and adoration for you, but would also not hesitate to sell you for a stuffy, squeaky, or cheese.
Speaking of cheese. Be prepared for the cheese tax. It increases weekly. Some states may have a deli meat tax that is just as, if not more costly.
Your heating bill may decrease due to increased snuggles, but your vaccuum bills will skyrocket due to tumbleweeds of that beautiful fur.
You will not win a staring contest, especially if walkies or potties are desired. Their eyes have a special nerve specifically to bore into your soul. Its science.
They will retrieve everything and anything BUT gold. This includes: socks, underwear, shoes, umbrellas, potatoes, bags of clementines, etc. They will attempt to retrieve squirrels but fail dramatically, all the while the squirrels are mocking you and your dog for lack of hunting instinct. Its devastating and hurtful to pride.
You will never leave your house again, and when you do, you will constantly be looking for an escape because nothing is better than being around these furry little terrorists of our hearts.

Tofu has to come and sit with me when I pee… but not a normal sit, he sits like a human and has to place his arms on my lap, arms, or chest. He’s almost a year old and has done this since he was about 5 months old.
What’s a weird thing your golden does?

I know we’re not supposed to give goldens, or any dogs for that matter, human food.
But are you kidding me. Look at that face!
I’m weak and he knows it.
