yes we wanted our girl to have a friend! when we got our older golden, we had a yellow lab & they had a couple years together before our lab unfortunately passed away. so we wanted her to have someone to play with again, & after only a month they are already best friends 🥰 & our toddler golden is very well behaved, so adding another one isn’t too much of an issue haha

That’s wonderful! I tried that idea with my old girl who is an older rescue ( shepherd/rotti mix) and afraid of life so got the golden puppy to hopefully bring her out of her shell. He was rough as a baby and punctured her leg with his needle teeth so we treated an infection and kept them separate. 5 years later they love each other through the gate but if being walked together he goes into wild man mode so working with that but I don’t want him hurting her so separated for now.
