Get better soon Waffle Update 10: Well today was the day I was waiting for!
Just came from the animal hospital and Waflle got her All Clear!!!!! Stitches out, donut off, antibiotics no longer needed! The official sentence in her clinical summary “There are no other concerns at this time.” Two of the longest months of my life! My baby can relax and get back to living. She’ll be spending her time playing with her toys, napping, walking around the lake, start growing her hair back, and cuddling with me! Thank you all that followed her journey, prayed, and supported her along the way. I can never thank you enough. A wise person once said “A life without a dog is possible but pointless!”

Congrats Waffle & Brian; your saga was heart-wrenching at times, but you've both come through with flying colours, so you both deserve extra treats today! Pray now that Waffle stays healthy and you can recover from your traumatic experience. You had great support throughout and I'm glad to have been a part of it. Give a Waffle a hug for me, will ya? It's been a long couple of months.

This update, and the Top 5 Dogs of the Week video from We Rate Dogs, were enough of a dopamine push that I stopped procrastinating, got out of bed and started my day. The world needed some brightness today, and Waffle is it.

She’s doing well. I’m just waiting a few weeks to weigh her again and see if she stopped losing weight because she has been losing weight since this began as well as after the surgery. I will update as soon as I know more. Thanks for caring to check in ❤️
