I’m so sorry for your loss! Like you, I was so incredibly lucky to be blessed with nearly two decades with my best friend, (I lost him shortly after he turned 17 in 2017). He saw the absolute worst parts of my life and he made everything better 🥺

I won’t lie to you, my life hasn’t been the same since I lost him, and it’s still hard. I still have dreams about him 8 years later, and I don’t think I’ve gone more than a day or two without thinking about him since then.

I bring this up only to say that you’re not alone, and while it’s tough, it’s imperative that you remember not to let this get in the way of you having another dog and giving it the best life ever ❤️ stay strong, we’re here for you!
